Pico DOS

Post by Steve Gray »

Hi,

I picked up a copy of Pico DOS on ebay... just the disk. Well, actually there were two disks but I don't know if they are the real complete Pico DOS. One is labelled "PICO DOS--DEMO C1P 82-0140" and the other is "PICO DOS --- BLANK C1P". I don't have a working C1 machine with floppy drive so I cannot test. Does anyone have any PICO DOS documentation?

Steve
C4P working, C1P working. 600D Replica working, C4P+D&N floppy not working. 505 board, 610 board, Mittendorf board, TOSIE hacker board need testing, PicoDOS disk untested.

I couldn't find anything here. If anybody does have the documentation for PICODOS, and is willing to scan it, please let me know, and we can host it here. Steve, hopefully we can flesh out a well-documented procedure for preserving OSI disks, and can document that here as well, for future preservation efforts.

Best regards,

Dave

I will have to try archiving the disk. I have a few other disks as well.

Yes, a tutorial would be nice if anyone can write one. If the images could be archived on this site that would be great as well.
