C3 Needs a good home

Post by Burtski »

I have a C3OEM with a hand full of boards, pile of manuals and a bigger pile of disks.
All of which need a good home.
In total it is about 150 lbs of stuff.
I also have a pair of 8" drives in a Challenger II chassis.
These have been sitting in my basement of the last 20+years.

Free to a good home ( not that I won't turn down a little beer money for it though :D

I am just outside of Milwaukee WI. if you want to come get it.
Otherwise shipping will be a bit expensive as it is 150Lbs and probably ship it 3 boxes.

510 is missing the 6800.
420 , 470, 524 550), after market parallel board I don't recognize
There is an extra 550, 524, and a 510 that is not populated
Lots of manuals, OS65-U and OS65-D manuals. Shugart and Siemens drive manuals.
Schematics
Lots and Lots of disks. WP6502, DQ-Mail and DQ Justify Original DQ registration card
Lots of CPM disks as well.
I think there is an MPM disk as well somewhere in there.

There is a version of CPM 2.2 that I modified to switch to the 6502 for disk read / write and serial port.
( I recall that there was a timing issue with the z80 and 6850's .. Something about clearing the RX data ready during a write at the exact wrong instant)

Everything is a bit grimy from sitting for the last 20 years. The aluminum has some oxidation and there is a little rust here and there.

This is an all or nothing deal. So don't even think about asking me to send 1 disk.

I'd be honored to give the C3OEM a good home, and cover Shipping and beer!

Unfortunately I can't get there to pick it up, as I'm in NH.

Thanks!
