I might have found a Model 600 factory prototype

Post by ricardosetti »

It is either a prototype or a very early production device. It has FACTORY DEMO handwritten as serial number. See attachments.
Can anyone bring any light on what is this?

Welcome!

It does look like a prototype. I'm not aware of any version released before the Rev B. This unit has no Rev. designtator, and has no connector or circuitry to the left of the keyboard. The Rev B and above had the model number above the keyboard.

A very interesting specimen, perhaps one of a kind.
