One of my B-51 drives has started reporting Error #9 when I attempt any read/write. I know the problem is on the drive’s logic board because I swapped in another logic board and the drive works fine. If anyone has experience with the MPI B51 or other legacy 5.25” drives, any thoughts on what components on the logic board might need replacing to fix Err #9 (can’t find track within one revolution)?
Thanks, Tom

Re: Error #9
I have two of these drives and I get the dreaded error 9 on both of them.
My solution was to build Klyball D13, and move to a more modern and reliable drive.
