Editing of messages
What criteria decide whether a message that has been edited after being initially posted gets stamped with an "edited x times(s)" line by the system? Does it only happen when an attachment is changed? An attachment that has been downloaded at least once? The final message in my "Enhanced Pico-Dos" thread says "edited 1 time" but has actually been edited a total of four times (the last two to add, and then delete, a test message commenting about this, to see whether or not the stated edit count would be bumped up to 2).

Re: Editing of messages
I'm not sure about that. I think there's a grace period after creation during which additional edits all get lumped in with the original post. Perhaps the same applies to subsequent edits as weil. I will look into it.
