Re: PHP issue
I started seeing the same on Firefox as of the night of February 22nd. Wasn't sure if it was just me until now.

Nope, not just you. I think I first saw it a day or so earlier, possibly on the 21st, but didn't say anything in case there was some maintenance work happening, but looks like bug or some other failure now.CommodoreZ wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 3:20 pm I started seeing the same on Firefox as of the night of February 22nd. Re: PHP issue
Well, there seems to be an issue with the phpBB installation. The site seems to be working, aside from the error.
I have been avoiding upgrades in hopes of importing this site to Discourse, or some other more modern forum platform. I made the mistake of upgradeing to 3.3 a few years back, only to discover that Discourse had just added migration support for 3.2 and wouldn't be able to migrate phpbb 3.3 for a while. Now that they seem to have a 3.3 migration path, I am planning to give it a shot when I have time, but that will likely be later this year.
I suppose now there really is no choice but to update the forum, and then troubleshoot if the problem persists.

Dave, just a quick note, when I replied to your message just now, it errored when I submitted my post, but still posted.
This is the error I got when posting this just now:
But I didn't get an error editing this to add the screenshot.

Re: PHP issue
I had been having ssh issues preventing me from updating the site and backing up the board. It looks like those issues are fixed, so I will back up the board and attempt to upgrade the installation. Most likely that will happen over the weekend.
I also will try to start catching up on the backlog of material waiting to be added to the repository.

Re: PHP issue
It looks like hostgator upgraded to PHP8.2 by default. I downgraded to 7.4 and the errors appear to have disappeared.
