I can write from Gotek "A" to GOTEK "C" without error but when I try to view the directory of files on "C" the BEXEC* program aborts. However I can write from floppy "B" to Gotek "C" or from Gotek "A" to floppy "D" all the files are copied without error. But if the .hfe image is write protected I get the error #9 as expected.
Bxdanny's suggestion that there could or should be a way to "close" an .hfe image before switching. I have assumed that when OS65D3 is running a write is somehow executed during the image switch, but there are other ways I have seen the image get clobbered if it is not write protected....maybe my hardware is not correctly implemented.

I haven't experienced any image "clobbering" as you describe.
What data separator are you using? Klyball D-13 V1 or V2, or other. I'm using a Klyball D-13 V2...
Maybe the write protect signal (shugart con. Pin 28) isn't being driven correctly...

The write protect is working properly because if the image is read only I cannot write to it and I do not experienced image corruption. That said I experienced this while debugging the floppy interface hardware with the Gotek attached. I will post if it happens again along with a description of how it happened.
