Mark,
Somewhere you posted that the SargonII that you corrected has the following load addresses:

Sargon II loader loads from $3000 to $30FF and runs at $3005
The program loads from $0300 to $27FE and starts at $0A5B

When loaded I've tried booting up in the monitor and typing '0AFBG' and it does not come up to a cold boot state and will not execute moves or display the board. Is this the correct entry for a cold boot? Thanks.

Yes the loader starts the program running at $0A5B
(The address stored the at the end of the checksum data.)

Did you typo the start address 0AFB instead of 0A5B perhaps?

I'm nothing if not consistent. I wrote the start address on a pad, referred to it at the 600d, then continued to type it in wrong right up to my post to Mark here :-( Sorry to waste your time doing another post.
To make it up to you I have a diskette of games for C1p, including Sargon II I am readying. The disk boots to a menu from Gotek and Sargon II can be selected and run. I will post the image when everything is finished.....

Here is the component layout....

The red elipses in the picture below are the jumper settings that work for me...
Do this to set the one-shot timer to 6uS. (with jumpers in place)
In the above photo, the jumper on the bottom right was incorrect, it should be 11 to 12 (as shown below)

Hey Howard, do you have a BoM for the data separator at all? I can see the ICs on your image, but don't know what the caps and resistors are, other than the 10K variable.

Thanks.

The user GlassTTY (John Newcombe) recently posted a document describing his experience building the D13 board, including a complete Bill of Materials. Unfortunately, the PDF now on the site he linked to is corrupted. Fortunately, I downloaded a copy while the file was good. So I am reposting it here. The BOM is on PDF page 9 of 27.

As promised, here is the OS65D games disk I promised, both the diskette and Gotek images. I have verified the Gotek image boots on my 600D and that the games run. But I have not verified they are fun ;-) Enjoy them anyway!
