Are there any Model 600 Rev D replica boards available?

I've just about completed the restoration of my Superboard II Rev B system.
So now I'm looking for my next project and I'm considering building a replica of the Model 600 Rev D or maybe a UK101 (I hope this clone doesn't go against canon). Does anyone know if there are any replica Model 600 Rev D or UK101 bare boards available? I have most of the 7400 series TTL chips, a spare 6502 CPU, two N8T28N Signetics IC Quad 3-state Bus Transceiver, and some 2816 EEPROMs for Monitor, BASIC, and Character ROMs. I will need only to get a suitable crystal, key switches, and keycaps. Since it will be a replica I might even look at using modern key switches.
If the boards are not available where can I find the Gerber files for the 600 Rev D or the UK101 board? Thanks

Hi Roy,

Gerber files for the 600D can be found here:
https://github.com/osiweb/Hardware/tree ... o/OSI_600D

Search the forum, you'll find plenty of construction hints, discussion etc.

There are some replica boards to make up a C4 to be found on Ebay which might be a more useful setup?

Cheers,
Leslie

Is the 600D board still available?

Hi there.

Yes it is.

I have already soldered in 52 key-switches (Cherry MX Hyper-glide), AND a latching "CAPS LOCK" Cherry MX key-switch.
I can include:
1 6502 processor
1 6821 PIA
1 6850 ACIA
5 28C16 EEPROM's
3 N8t28N bus driver chips,
16 working 2114 RAM chips

$300 excl. shipping

Cheers

On Daves OSI Web page there's a zip with the basic KlyBall Gerber files from there there are many PCB prototype manufacturers who can produce the board I used PCBWay in China. Only problem they usually have a minimum of 5.
The only thing to watch out for is the silk screen has the wrong orientation on the IC's so you need to check before soldering each socket.
I haven't started the build yet as I'm off on a break but I have to scour my storage unit when I get back as there's some old Mechanical keyboards that I can recover the switches and key caps for use in the project.
