Still waiting. It looks as if Vince is clearing out a bit of a backlog.

I received mine, and it works great! Now I have to figure out a permanent home for it.

The 32 x 32 video mode is a bit odd, though. BASIC will still only allow 25 across the screen, so your text listing is squeezed slightly in the middle of the screen (see pict). The video memory on the sides is addressable via poke and peek statements. I think I might dig into the BASIC assembly and see if that can be changed.... bwa..ha ha ha!

Oh, and there is a dramatic pause while the system determines that there is 32K or RAM... something my 8K machine never did!

Oh... and at this point in time, my first computer purchase was a Challenger 1P, and my last computer purchase (until my next) is a Superboard III. Long Live the Superboard!

I think he shipped it on Sept 15th. I didn't get a shipping notice. It arrived on Sept 19th.

Yes that would be useful to use the full 32col video. Install Cegmon as well then add Premier ROMs and HexDOS and it starts to look like a worthy SIII contender. ;)

yes, except its 32 chars by 26 lines. but Basic still only gets 24 wide. The side areas are available to peek and poke. See photo in post above
